New work:
From Decline to Rebirth

This morning we're launching a new interactive
media project entitled "From Decline to Rebirth:
Conversations on the future of natural history."
We've combined black and white portraits with
audio conversations from some of the nation's
leading naturalists as they re-imagine natural
history for the 21st century.
Commissioned by the Natural History Network
with support from the National Science
Foundation, the interactive website features
over 25 conversations gathered last month
during the first of four Network workshops. By
this summer the project will expand to include
over 100 of today's thought leaders along with a
corresponding traveling exhibit of broadsides.
You can read more about our approach to
leveraging the workshop discussions on our blog
, or visit declinetorebirth.org.

Pathways for Youth

Pathways for Youth is an effort to create the next generation of public lands
stewards and National Park Service employees. By deliberately connecting
existing programs and partnerships, North Cascades National Park is creating
a continuum of meaningful park-based experiences. The park hired us to
produce a story that follows several young people who discuss their own
unique pathways through educational programs, internships and seasonal
employment. The piece helped North Cascades secure almost $400,000 of
new funding to expand the program in 2011. Read more on our blog.
